Physical Education

of every day for the rest of their life." ~Allen Russell
Justin Bissonnette - Grades K - 2
I am so excited to get off to yet another great year! I am now beginning my tenth year as physical educator at CCS! I am here at CCS on Thursdays and Fridays.
I also coach Girls' 'A' soccer, Girls 'A' basketball and Baseball at CCS. In my free time, my activities include baseball, basketball, golf and snowboarding. I am also an avid Mets fan. All my students probably know this from the bright orange colors I wear and the numerous Mets logos (not to be confused with Yankees) that I wear. I am also a member of the Society of Health and Physical Educators Vermont (SHAPE-VT) where I am a co-coordinator of the organization's middle school fitness competition which some of our CCS middle school students participate in every year. I am a born Vermonter as I grew up in Colchester and currently live there as well. I look forward to a great year and am always looking for parent helpers throughout the year. Feel free to contact me with questions.

This will be another active year in physical education and wellness at CCS! I live on a farm in North Ferrisburgh with my husband and we have four great kids. I am the Assistant Coach of the CVU Boys' Championship Volleyball team and have created a volleyball club here at CCS.  I enjoy gardening, traveling, dancing and many different recreational activities with family and friends. I am the Past President of the Vermont Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, an association that provides me with many new learning opportunities. I am passionate about bringing fitness and wellness information to my students and their families and look forward to all of the learning experiences we will share!
