Wellness is a lifelong journey, and active process, of making daily healthy lifestyle choices and commitments."
William B. Baun

It is our pleasure to provide some information about our Staff Wellness Program at CSSU. The goal of the program is to provide a variety of programs and services across the Chittenden South Supervisory Union to give our employees opportunities to enhance their personal health and well-being. The program is entirely funded by a grant from the Vermont Education Health Initiative (VEHI) division of the Vermont School Boards Insurance Trust (VSBIT).

Please note: while not directly managed by the CSSU Employee Wellness Program, all CSSU employees have the opportunity to receive $150 upon completion of the on-line PATH Wellness Program. Follow the link to learn more or log in to get your PATH points today!

The CSSU Staff Wellness Program offers a variety of services throughout the school year including motivational programs to help you reach your wellness goals, access to a Wellness Coach, and regular communication with information and ideas on how to enhance your personal health and wellness!

This program is built around an action plan that was laid out by staff representatives from each CSSU school serving on our Employee Wellness Committee several years ago. The plan developed by the committee focused on three core components to include in the program: physical activity, nutrition, and stress reduction.  For more information, please contact our Staff Wellness Program Coordinator, David Peckinpaugh, at dpeckinpaugh@cssu.org or 802-383-1249.
