We are glad that you have virtually joined us for our academic adventure. For students to succeed, all parties--teachers, parents and students--need to be pulling together. That takes communication, and this site is one of the tools toward that end.

As your browse the Hinesburg United site, note the tab for each teacher.  They link to assignments and contact information.

As important as our website is our Wednesday Letter and JupiterGrades. Every Wednesday we send home a newsletter with important news, events and other information. Often there are attachments, such as permission slips or information about upcoming events. All attachments will be indicated at the top of the Wednesday Letter--either physical copies will come home that day, or there will be a link to access it online.

JupiterGrades is an online grade book giving students and parents a look at student grades 24-7.

In addition, each student is given a Powerbook. More than an assignment book, the Powerbook is our tool for letting parents know what assignments are due, and what assignments have been handed in. It will also state goals, and have other information.

We hope all of these tools--the Webpage, Wednesday Letter, JupiterGrades and Powerbook--help keep students on their academic track. When everyone is clear about the expectations it makes academic success possible.
