Students in grades K-8 should report to their classrooms by 8:00 a.m. Announcements and the taking of attendance will begin the school day.
Early Arrival:
Students are not expected to arrive at school prior to 7:30 a.m. due to limited supervision available at that time. Students who arrive at or after 7:30 a.m. are asked to wait in the cafeteria until they hear the announcement to proceed to their classrooms.
Arrival and Parking:
Students riding school buses are discharged and picked up in front of the school and enter and exit the building through the front door. Students riding in cars enter and exit through the side door, and parents/guardians providing transportation are asked to use the side parking lot for the purpose of dropping off and picking up their children and for parking their vehicles if they will be entering the building.Parking is not permitted in the bus loop during the school day.

Calling In:
When it is necessary for your child to remain at home please call the school before 8:30 a.m. to report the absence.The school practice is to call home in the event of an unexplained absence in order to ensure the safety of the children.
Dismissal:
For reasons of safety, the school requires that all incidents of tardiness and early dismissal be excused by the parent or guardian, either through a note, telephone call, or email.Any child who is to be dismissed is to be met by the parent/guardian in the main office.No student is dismissed directly from the classroom. Student dismissal for grades K-4 is at 2:45 p.m. and at 2:50 p.m. for grades 5-8.
